HOW IT'S MADE
Firstly the rope has been hand dyed by me into a deep red dye bath, both solid and dip dyed. The two results being a a deep red (think Santa’s velvet coat red) and surprisingly a candy cane look with the dip dyed effect, the colour dappling and dancing in and out of the creamy white rope as it winds around the bowl. The coiled cotton rope is then machine stitch quilted which gives it a sturdy finish and makes for a versatile vessel. It's soft and won't scratch the surface that it's placed on, no sharp edges, won't break if you drop it, and looks really eye-catching. It's finished with a whimsical side tassel. It's a perfect size, bigger than a trinket dish but smaller than a medium bowl so great for use around the home.

THE ALL IMPORTANT SIZE
This fabulous V bowl is approx 19-20cm in diameter across the top, reaching 9cm high.
Being a handmade item the sizes may vary ever so slightly, but all care has been taken to duplicating item sizes as closely as possible. The ombre/dip dyed bowls are each slightly different with colour placement depending on the sections of colour, so the bowl will be selected at random when sending your purchase.
Noting that calibration on different screen monitors may change the way this red is viewed, but the photos represent it as closely as possible, I promise you won't be disappointed.
